Fünf Räder hat ein Wagen, fünf Finger eine Simpsons-Hand, alle fünf Jahre ist Fußball EM und zur Fortpflanzung wird Fünf gemacht. Die Fünf ist also eine Spitzenzahl! Auch das Boombatzefest findet nämlich zum fünften Mal statt. Dieses Jahr wird komplett auf die lokalen Haudegen verzichtet und Artisten aus weniger nah bis gaaaanz weit weg rangekarrt. "Klingt irgendwie britisch" wird Deine Freundin zu GHOST OF TOM JOAD sagen. Andere sagen frühe Dischord und auch Düsseldorf oder Berlin in den 80ern - nur mit mehr Soul. Stell dir vor Elliott Smith, Joe Jackson, Kevin Shields und Ian Mac Kaye hätten die Einstürzenden Neubauten gegründet. Ja, GOTJ sind die neue Perle am deutschen Indie-Himmel. Großartige Band mit viel Zukunftspotential, die gerade ihr von Muff Potter-Dennis produziertes Debüt "No sleep until Ostkreutz" auf den Markt gebracht hat! Ebenfalls mit neuem Album (das siebte!) und auf ausgedehnter Europatour unterwegs sind die NITROMINDS aus Brasilien über den Teich geschippert. Im Land von Samba und Fußballkunst sind die drei mächtige Stars und das mit ihrem peitschenden Hardcore-Punk irgendwo zwischen den 7 Seconds und Poison Idea. Nach zweimal ordentlich auf die Mappe wird es dann zuckersüß! Die unehelichen Töchter von Ray Charles und Aretha Franklin nehmen Euch mit auf eine Zeitreise in das Detroit der sechziger Jahre, als das Motown-Label die Hits nur so aussprudelte und die amerikanische Automobilindustrie auf ihrem Zenit war. Die SCHOGETTES machen das einzige Bauchweh, das man unbedingt bald wieder kriegen möchte... |

| Boombatze Entertainment präsentiert: 02.03.2007 BOOMBATZEFEST 2007 Boombatze-Floor: FIFTY FIVE FEFFI FUCKERS (Rock´n´Roll-Cover-Show, EF) + MIDNIGHT RUNNERS (Punk´n´Roll, Boombatze Recs., EF) + SOON (PostPunk, Funtime Recs., Belgium) + Aftershow mit Mr. Boombatze (AlternativeAngryPopMusic) + Wild Pechi (Rock´n´Roll, Surf & more) Mensa-Floor: Party-Action mit Mensa Jürgen Specials: Original Zauberbowle + Feuerspucker Ooooch Mensch, wird das nicht langsam peinlich? Muss das immer noch sein? Ja, das muss sein! Mr. Boombatze hat schließlich eine Mission zu erfüllen. Und diese Mission heißt Rock´n´Roll! Und das hat definitiv nichts mit Alter oder Peinlichkeit zu tun, sondern schlichtweg mit Pflichtgefühl an der Jugend. Und diese wird nach alter Piratentradition mit Original Zauberbowle shanghait bzw. gefügig gemacht und dann den drei wunderbaren Jugendtanzorchestern zum Fraß vorgeworfen. Besonderer Geheimtipp sind da die Belgier SOON, musikalisch irgendwo zwischen Bloc Party, Manic Street Preachers und Fugazi. Das aktuelle Album "Under The Wire" ist eine extrem gut bestückte Perlenkette, die zauberhaft von Gareth Parton (Das Pop, The Go!Team, Futureheads) abgemischt wurde. Nach längerer Pause und kurz vor dem Aus sind sie endlich wieder da: die MIDNIGHT RUNNERS haben sich in Originalbesetzung wieder zusammengerauft und werden nach den wenigen Auftritten letztes Jahr endlich wieder da stehen, wo sie hingehören, auf die Bühne! Da bleibt kein Auge und Stofffetzen trocken, versprochen! Falls es bis dahin immer noch nicht gelungen sein sollte, auch den letzten Anwesenden zu missionieren, wird die Geheimwaffe auf die Bühne gelassen. Eddi und seine Bande FIFTY FIVE FEFFI FUCKERS kann man/frau einfach nicht ignorieren. Spätestens nach drei Songs dürfte das Schild "Mission Complete!" aufleuchten. Hurra geschafft! Danach wird natürlich zur Aftershow bis in Puppen gefeiert und die Nacht zum Tage gemacht. Wild Pechi und Mr. Boombatze sind bereit für jegliche Motivation zum Tanzbeinschwung. Auch Geburtstagskind Mensa Jürgen (2.3.!!!) ist dann schon seit 21 Uhr auf heiligem Kreuzzug und wird wieder mal keine Gefangenen machen. So, und was bitte ist daran jetzt peinlich? 29.12.04 Okay, now it´s gonna be serious! You can click on Releases and find some more infos about the new 10" of the MIDNIGHT RUNNERS and I even put some Real Audio Files online. So you can check the songs even before they will blow your ears from your record player. But attention, it´s just poor quality! The first edition will have 500 copies and poisonlike greeeeeen vinyl.
